Difficult to believe dad's been gone 42 years today (April 29th)

52 years my Pa and I miss him everyday and Ma too but she lasted another 20 odd years - funny that heh?? God Love to go back it do it again - think I might have missed a good marriage on the way??

The years go by and only when we look back do we realise how many years have passed.
When I count back it is 40 years since my father died.

My dad has been dead 32 years and my mom for 16. I miss them both as they were wonderful parents and the older I get the more I think about them.

My dad died in 1954 in a small airplane crash. Over 70 years ago - he was 31, and I was barely 8 at the time. My mother lived to be 98.

And of course I still miss them both. I do still talk to my dad when I'm in the car by myself.
