Yes. For a very short time. The dispenser didn’t last long with a toddler around

Three people, three different coloured plastic cups. They were disintegrating by the time they were thrown away.

I always wanted one when I was young but my mother wouldn't get one. So when I got married I bought one, it came with a supply of cups.
Unfortunately, when those were used up we couldn't afford to buy refills. The empty dispenser sat on the wall till it fell off.

I hope your toothbrushes in the cup are either in the medicine cabinet or that you close the lid on your toilet before flushing! Germs from your toilet, including fecal bacteria, can spray out over 6 feet. One of the first things I learned after accepting Islam decades ago is that we must close the lid before flushing because of what's mentioned above. This is so when we make our ritual washing before prayer, usually done in the bathroom, it is in a relatively clean space. And of course, for health reasons as well. At that time, we also began keeping our toothbrushes in the medicine cabinet anyway.

As for the OP: I believe I had a Dixie dispenser decades ago, but can't remember for sure.

Germs? We couldn't afford germs. We had to grow our own....thus the common cup.

I should have added that I bought the cup dispenser when my son was a toddler. For him to use when he brushed his teeth. I should have known it would turn into a play item

I grew up using the paper cups, still do now. I did notice how expensive they got over the years.
