Hmm. Maybe we've all had past lives that some of us can recall and some of us can't. Or maybe none of us have had past lives, but some of us just imagine a past life or two or more. Or maybe some really did have past lives (and remember them) and for some, this is our first go-round. (For option #3 - even if you've had multiple past lives, one of them had to be your first.)
