From what I've noticed since I've been here is that it seems to be about even. There are a *lot* of members that never post, though... do you mean just active members?

yes probably... but having been here 9 years, I'm certain there are more women than men as members

I agree. We can’t assume that all membership is honest about their gender. In fact, we can’t assume that all members are being honest with what they are posting. It’s the internet after all. No offence to the membership here.

lol.. well I would think it there is anyone here presenting as the opposite gender .. then it will be extremely small..and make little difference to the Male/Female ratio

I always check the "what's new" link... and more times than not, there are equal or nearly equal men and ladies. I'll admit there are a few people I haven't "officially" spoken with yet that I seriously don't know their gender by the screen-name alone, but often it's pretty close to evenly divided when it comes to who's online and posting at any given time.

That would have to be ACTIVE users and I'm not sure that would be possible. And is it a requirement to register with gender? I think it was there, but if it's not mandatory, I assume many don't offer that information when registering.

Hover your mouse over the member's name.. then click on the name, and then click ''About'' most people will have put their gender even if they haven't added any other Info..

The Sex Ratio in UK in 2021 is 97.75 males per 100 females. There are 33.72 million males and 34.49 million females in UK. The percentage of female population is 50.57% compare to 49.43% male population.
