Do you always use "drive thrus"?

For some odd reason, only the drive-thru at Taco Bell and I don't go very often.
Maybe I use the drive-thru because if I went inside and looked at the kitchen area, I wouldn't eat there.

I always use the pharmacy drive-thru, but that's because all our pharmacies are huge and the dispensary is at the back of the store....and some days I don't walk so well.

I wish pharmacies would just be pharmacies; just little drug stores that fill your prescriptions and sell a few vitamins and bandages and some OTC remedies.

I never use them. I like to park my car, go inside and enjoy my meal and/or coffee. I think that if you don't have time to come in, you are wasting gas lined up with the rest of the folks out there (guess you never heard of global warming). Drinking or eating in your car seems like high stress to me. Good chance to smell up your car with stink and a good chance to drop grumbs all over the seat and maybe McDonald's coffee right on your pants. Your choice, I guess!

In n Out burger by walmart is ridiculous around lunch time. Very long line.

I think drive thru is a waste of gas. Unless someone has issues and it's hard for them to get in and out of the car.

We have no drive through pharmacies or drive through liquor stores here. The only drive throughs we have here are for junk food or getting gas. We don’t eat junk food but do drive through to get gas but that’s it.

Well during COVID-19 drive-thru use increased for obvious reasons.

  • Ever notice at larger stores with large parking lots, how some people will spend unnecessary time driving about trying to get a parking spot next to whatever entrance doors instead of just walking a few feet more by parking further away?
  • Maybe are the same people that instead og just finding a place in a parking lot to park, will instead drive to the front of a store entrance and park there with their vehicle motor running and hazard blinkers pulsing for several minutes while one of their passengers goes into the store?
  • And I'll suspect they are also the one's most likely to use drive-thru's even when the vehicle line is long and few are actually inside ordering.

I dislike drive thrus .... everything sounds like "wa wa wa " and i do not enjoy correcting what we ordered 2 times before pulling forward....
In bank situations
i always felt i got the line where someone was trying to do something impossible taking longer then if i just went in ....
While it may be needed for some customers i feel it does just clog up the parking lot and traffic more often then not.
