Do you and your cats understand each other? (speak cat?)

I do think that when cats want to communicate with us verbally they do it better than dogs, or maybe we are just more patient with soft cute little sounds than barking.
My daughters cat makes sounds like Gizmo ( Gremlins movie) all the time. She just chats and chats

Yes, it seems that we are. I've had her since she was a kitten and that was 15 years ago so if we haven't learned each other by now, then we're not going to. :)
