Do you argue or avoid arguments at all costs, ("you know where I stand"!)

Do you argue or avoid arguments at all costs
Arguments, Most times, apologies are eventually in order
Decades ago, I created a poster on that

My old boss had a comment on the argument you made in your poster "decades ago".

He said he would not answer questions framed in this way, " When did you stop beating your wife", because you have to accept the premise you've been guilty of domestic abuse, or may have been guilty, (and you are prejudiced whatever you try to say as a riposte!).

You knew all that though didn't you, (remind me not to argue with you, even if I find something to argue with you about, (wait a minute I just,....., :) ).

Grahamy, You had a wise, good boss
The poor chap died much too early at seventy three, (having had three wives/families, maybe that took its toll. !), but he was indeed wise, very quick witted.

Very fortunately for myself, thirty years ago, he told me "I like you Graham", when trying to boost my confidence, and I could only bring myself to call him by his surname till then. :)

As I inadvertently brought this type of argument up above, here are some details on "Rogerian arguments":

@grahamg Interesting and so similar to my own methodology:

1. He is and always will be totally wrong.

2. In the unlikely event that he should ever be right, I may acknowledge the fact but, that will not mean he is totally right.

3. All arguments could be avoided if he would just accept that I am and always will be totally right.

#happyeverafter💕😍 #totallyright4ever🤟♥️
