Ghosts like in Beetlejuice, absolutely not. But in spirits? Absolutely yes. I've felt and heard their presence. But of course they were family members that have passed on. Maybe they are the same. Some say ghosts. Some of us say spirits. I don't think of them as ghosts. Ghosts is a word that people laugh at. It conjures up images from horror or comedy films.

Remember when Jesus walked on the water and the disciples in the boat clearly said they thought he was a ghost? Those of us in Christ fortunately will be with God -but even then-there is always a choice as some are too attached to this world -people-things- to move on right away. There is always free will
I have no idea what you're talking about.
And, I don't think you do either.
If you wanna do this, let's go to the Bible with texts.
I really don't care to.
But will.
You won't
Because you can't

What is a fallen angel? I am a Christian but I don't know the bible as well as I should. Do you not believe that your wonderful beautiful boy sits at the feet of God? That he knows that you and his Mom did everything you could to help his suffering. Just that is a Godly act. On this earth you loved him all through his struggle until God called him home. Explain how he, your own son, setting at God's feet, basking in his love, that he could not be looking down, sending his love, hoping you will have a happy life here until you meet again. I don't believe in ghosts, but I do believe in God and that he made each and everyone of us. That he recieves us in his home and allows us to love and look after those until we can join them.

Do I have it all wrong? Will I not see and be with those I have loved here on earth in heaven? God has made a place for us, a home, beyond our lives here, is that not so? These are true questions, I thought I knew the truth of it. Am I wrong, does it all mean nothing? Were all the things I was taught as a child a made up story? I am so confused. I know that is a lot but I thought I knew the truth, now I don't know.
I've posted this in another thread;

As far as the Bible is concerned, yer dead, worm food
...until the 2nd coming and the resurrection

Nothing in the Bible says otherwise

There's many texts
but
just think about it
If there's a resurrection, what happens?
Do those in heaven come back down
jump into the grave
then go back up again?

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

As far as right now?
The dead are dust.

Those that teach otherwise are sadly misguided
No biblical support
Nothing more than a feel good fairy tale

Yes, I hope to see my son again
.....at the second coming

I do believe that there is something to the afterlife.I live in a large 1800s brick farm home and have experienced shadows, voices, objects being moved, smells of cigar smoke, knocking sounds and I presume ehe shadow of a cat that passed. Nothing seems to mean and ill harm and gets along with the family

I remember talking about playing Cribbage again, the big board hung on the wall and the cards rested on the top. (for years) The next day the cards fell onto the carpet! That was sure peculiar to say the least. If I really thought it was a ghost however, I’d have run for days to get distance between the house and I. Yikes!
