Do you believe our dearly departed visit us?

After my mother's brother passed away, both she and my grandmother reported seeing my uncle at the foot of their beds early in the morning, dressed in a suit and smiling. He had died way to young from a heart attack. Almost seemed a way of reassuring them that he was okay.

My wife's former boss told a story that happened in the wake of his wife's premature death. She had been hit by a drunk driver one night when going out to visit a patient as a visiting nurse. In the aftermath, her wedding ring disappeared, only to be found sometime later in their kitchen. The bizarre thing was that the ring was in an upper corner in a spider's cobweb. Her old boss had been cleaning the house and saw something shiny near the ceiling. He has no idea how it got there.

I believe our departed send signs to let us know they're around us, a few years ago the day before my darling was due home after working abroard for 6 months, I returned from a shopping trip to find a large tail feather from a magpie placed squarely in the middle of the door mat outside my home, (we used to watch magpies nesting nearby) I just knew it was a sign and, half an hour later I got a call to say he'd passed away after a heart attack on his way to the airport

A few weeks later, I was sitting on the settee crying my eyes out, missing him so much when the largest most unusual white butterfly I'd ever seen flew in the window, it fluttered all round my head, face and upper body for a couple of minutes then settled on the curtain, it was so surreal I actually took a photo because I wondered if I was dreaming, (or going mad) !

Various other things happen and if faced with a decision I always ask myself what would he advise, he's still part of my life

I had the same experience with my second husband who died. I believe it.

Wow, that's amazing!

That is wonderful and I, too, believe it was your significant other. Yes, I believe that our departed loved ones remain a part of our lives and I think I'm going to try and connect with them more than I have been.
