Yes, I believe that about family members.I believe there is. A soul mate is not always a person you are romantically involved with. It could be a parent, a sibling, a best friend, a teacher as well as a partner.
Sorry, @Marcy SheinerI used to believe in it, not so much anymore. But if it is true, then mine came and went very quickly (he died young).
I agree. I think there is more than one.I believe that there may be a few!
Thank you for saying this first, i get tired of pointing out how thoroughly most westerners misunderstand the concept. I feel Edgar Cayce got it more correct with his talk of 'soul groups'.I believe there is. A soul mate is not always a person you are romantically involved with. It could be a parent, a sibling, a best friend, a teacher as well as a partner.
Similar story here. Met my wife-to-be 11 days after her 17th birthday while I was 19 and in the military. A few years before you folks - -it was 1953. Married in '56.Yes, but that is based on ms gamboolgal and I.
That is her sat on my knee when she was barely 17 and I was 19 back in 1979.
We were inseparable and married 3 year later.
And my favorite thing still to do after all these years is to chase ms gamboolgal around the bed buck neckid![]()
Do you believe the old adage that there's a soul mate for everybody?
A total crock of shit!To answer that we have to define what is a soulmate.
It is a noun meaning a person ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner.
Now how to you find it, it is simple, buy becoming one. It is as simple as that, there are no soulmates, there are just mates. Soulmate is just a myth spread by writer of fiction and drama.
You become the one for the person you care about, love and cherish. Relationships are not ideal and perfect, they are bunch of compromises you do everyday to make sure it works. They are teamwork, and very hard labour, and why we do them, because we believe in our partner or the person we love.
Also a soulmate can be just your best friend, someone who takes you for who you are. A soulmate doesnāt have to be your partner, spouse of romantic opposite.
If you have a person in your life, who see the bad in you and still accepts the good in you, pushes you to become better and believes in you, you already have a soulmate. Everyone has one, it is just maybe the person we want to be, isnāt the one we have.
