Though I do my share of swearing, I would have NEVER said anything out of line in front of my mother. It was simply unthinkable, no matter what the circumstances.
I'm getting better at it. I had used profanity towards those who hurt me in the past. Somehow it just feels better to shriek without it now. For example, a man trying to sell me some kind of Medicare kept calling me and must have left me 10 messages. I told him that he keeps calling and I'm not interested and then I yelled "stop calling me!!". At least I didn't swear...lol
