Do You Ever Dance Around The House?

Yes, I have an old phonograph and MANY, MANY favorite 45's. I sing and dance all the time, but all alone. (no one around)

When my husband was alive we had a three year drought. When it finally rained one afternoon, I ran outside to dance in the rain.
He saw me and ran outside to join me! We waltzed all over the yard in the rain, and laughed so hard! We were soaking wet!
This was a big, rugged cowboy!
(one of my favorite memories)

Devi and One-eyed-Deva, You guys are so awesome!

A lot. Sometimes with Paxton, sometimes with Michelle. I used to dance with my granddaughter every time she came to stay a while, but lately (now that she's 11) she wrinkles her nose and waves me off; "Grampa, you are such a doofus." (to which I reply, "Aw, c'mon, do the dab!")

How about going outside and dancing around the house? Anybody brave enough to do that? I heard it's good for clearing the air of bad mojo.
The back private patio works well, but my staid neighbors would not approve.

My favorite exercise music is an album by the fantastic Ottmar Liebert. The tempo varies from fast and exciting to slower songs that call for longer yoga like movements that are best done standing on my mat.

I really hate kitchen stuff so to get myself revved up to clean up in there, I'll put on some music and often find myself dancing at the sink when I'm loading the dishwasher. My little kitchenette is very small so I don't have room to get crazy but it makes the chore almost enjoyable. I'll listen to whatever playlist suits my fancy at the time Today it was oldies music. I also dance in other rooms in the house. I used to dance a couple of nights a week for 30 minutes to my dance playlists. I need to start doing that again. How about you. Do you ever dance at home...even by yourself?
Not sure it is dancing but I do move to a couple of old CDs like Motown or Santana.

The only real time I dance, is after finishing the floor of a cabin or shop.
It's a ritual in some cabin building circles

I have yet to break that circle;
