Do You Ever Find Yourself Understanding What A Parent Said Long Ago Now?

My mother always quoted to me from Ben Franklin; "too soon we grow old, too late we grow smart." My dad constantly harped on the fact the other people's time is as important as yours. Later on I grew to live by these words. My son cannot ever be on time and it drives me up a wall. I am totally impatient with tardiness. I well know why my mom repeated that phrase to us all the time.
