Do you ever get frustrated with "streaming?"

Most British series are between 5 and 10 episodes ....far too short.
I like the 20+ American ones but hate the season breaks.....

I have cable for the basics and use it to watch some shows On Demand. Crave is a lesser version of HBO. Can’t get Max.
Netflix and Prime.
I’d like to have Apple and Hulu for a couple shows for a month or two. Maybe Paramount to finish up Yellowstone.
Considering we only watch one show per evening, we’re overpaying. Still, it’s cheap entertainment.
We upgraded our internet speed so haven’t had any hang ups lately.
Just remembered Disney. There’re some shows I’d like to on that too.
Also would like to have BritBox.

I sign up for one service at a time, and watch two or three episodes of each series I may be interested in. And if I'm not into the series by the third episode, I find something else. I can usually get all I want out of a streaming service in a month, sometimes two, and then I cancel and go back to my private library. I think I stream maybe two or three months out of the year. I don't like to wait for the next season either, and 10 episodes seems kind of chincy, unless the 10 complete the premise of the series.

So far it's been a year we joined Disney+, it's great as we're both huge Disney's fans. Our watchlist is pretty full. Currently binge watching "Doogie Howser MD" Daughter was too young to watch it when it came out. I'm enjoying the silliness of it all.

Also, Paramount+ is now added for free to our subscription. Good films there too.

Don't see any point joining Netflix as it's only The Crown and we'll be getting the series 5 on DVD.

Sad that "Hudson and Rex" series is over, miss those two like crazy. The Alien series was good to begin with but the following seasons fell short of expectations.

Overall very happy with my services. I'm VIP Diamond so occasionally we get free films. So pretty neat.

Then after all the films and series, it's over to YouTube for the haunted channels, Paranormal and Tarotscope.

I'm proud of my self. I don't watch any of the crap the liberal propagandizers put out nowadays. Mainly because it's boring.

I have free antenna TV and all I watch on it occasionally is Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, and other game shows.

At least they engage my intelligence a little.

I will occasionally watch reruns of the Match Game from the 1970s which is the most entertaining game show ever produced.

I watch YouTube videos that try to teach you something. I like ones that show pet birds.

I used to watch Lucky Dog and Cesar 911 on Sunday mornings on DABL (free TV). But it's lost its appeal over time. I've never owned a dog, but I used to wonder how Cesar would get a troublesome dog to obey it's owners.

I get frustrated with Netflix. The short one season series, or the wait between seasons.
I am not crazy about Amazon Prime either.
My favorites are Tubi, Paramount + ("Yellowstone"), Hulu (loved "Justified" 6 seasons), Peacock.
We tried a few others but were not impressed with the variety of shows.
If available, we like to upgrade to a non commercials version.

I switch services regularly, and don't stay with one for more than two months. In that that amount of time, I've cherry picked the things I want to see, and if there is something I miss in the off time, I can pick it up a year later later. My favorite is Hulu, with Netflix a second. Disney is good if you want to review the Marvel blockbusters, but I have bought all those on DVD. I sometimes enjoy the old generation animations from my youth, just for the nostalgia. I usually go two or three months between streaming services.

I eliminated TV watching a decade or so ago, with the exception of football. I didn't have time for it when I was working, and I just let it go. In fact, I no longer own a TV. I have the internet and monitor, of course. I do enjoy the concessional movie, but if I want to watch something, I download it.

For me it was a battle between working and mindless entertainment (nothing wrong with mindless TV at the right time!) I chose work and for prime entertainment, music. Mind you, I've recently watched some Coronation Street on Youtube. Not whatever is going on now, but episodes with Ena Sharples. Man, she was tough.

I have Sling where I watch Netflix, tubi (movies only, don't care for the series) and live News, also a lot of YouTube on my computer...... these and my reading keep me well entertained.
