Do you ever say words out of sequence?

Yes, I've done it verbally. My son has too and we laugh at each other when we do. I especially notice that I'll reverse the order of letters sometimes when I type. That made me wonder....is dyslexia contagious?! I don't remember doing that before I married my husband, who was dyslexic. Sometimes I'll revisit my posts on SF and see that I've put words in the wrong grammatical order or (usually due to sloppy editing), the sentence makes no sense because I forgot to remove or add a word, or even reorder a sentence when I did the edits. I'm glad I don't have to apply for a secretarial job now!

Yeah. A while back, we were talking about what predators may have gotten into the animal pen out back. We had chickens, peacocks, and guineas. Dad asked me what I thought could have squeezed under the fencing, I said "Winks and Measles", he cracked a grin and I realized it didn't come out as "Minks and Weasels".

I'm sure I have but none as funny as an embarrassment my dad shared.
She was a good looking, popular girl and my dad was nervous talking to her in high school.
He was also self conscious about the glasses he wore.
Speaking with her at school one day, my dad mentioned something about his "glass-a55es".
He was certainly embarrassed but years later and explaining the incident, he laughed as we did.

This time not words out of sequence, simply a totally wrong word.
I wrote an email, proofread it and discovered, instead of writing - I doubt whether…
I wrote - I doodle whether.😆
