Do you find the more you stay home the more you want to stay home?

Travel is what I miss the most. Or maybe it’s the bargain shopping for groceries. I’m only joking a little bit about that one.

Staying home is tolerable but getting boring. I don’t like the same routine.

My DH has always been quiet so we never did much socially.

As my friend said, ’we’ve never been together so much. 24/7, since March and they’re still getting along.’ That’s us, but I sure am running out of conversation starters.

I love working from home and would love to keep working from home even when it's safe to work from the office. However that's the only thing that makes me really want to stay home. I haven't retired yet so I'm not sure I'll feel the same way when I do.

I still love going out to concerts, going places to bicycle, hike and camp and travel. I'd be happy travelling for several weeks although at the end of a trip no matter how good it is I do look forward to being home. If I were wealthier I might be fine because I could afford the things I love at home no matter how much they cost abroad.

Assuming my travels would usually take me to places I'd be interested in if I were able to travel extensively as part of my job once Covid is under control (if it actually is) I'd definitely choose to do that. I love spending time in other areas.
