Do You Get Free Bus Passes In Your Part Of The World?

As far as I know, the train trips above are run by the bus companies in lieu of buses. (Does that make sense?).

Yes, your Welsh concession card does cover you for those trips.

We'll have to meet up in Llandudno soon. You can buy me a coffee. Then we can go and catch some of those damned seagulls.
... They stole my ice-cream cornet out of my hand on the pier last month!!!

What do you mean Hanf.
Coffee.
Hows about a beer!?:D

And please don't get me going on about Seaguls.
I hate the little bleeders.
They are nothing more than blinkin' Flying Rats !

Good on you Ameriscot.
My Wife and I have been on quite a few holidays to Scotland with Shearings over the years, and love the place.
We have not long had a holiday in Portpatrick, and it was lovely.

Mind you.
We couldn't use our Welsh Bus Passes there!:playful::D

PS.
If I may ask an off topic question.
In the vote for Scottish Independence yes or no, how do you go?

We both voted Yes.

I'm in the same boat (that should be bus) as Ameriscot. Actually, the Scottish pass (called an 'entitlement card' as it also serves as a library card and for other amenities) allows you to travel into England as far as Carlisle and (I think) Berwick upon Tweed.

The rural bus service has been cut back here, but there is a bus to Aberdeen every 30 mins.

Of the UK countries, I think N.Ireland has the most generous transport schemes.
