Do you go out at night often?

No. I live in a very rough area and it simply isn't safe for a woman to go out alone.

I hit the sack at 11:30 or 12:30 AM. I stopped driving in the evening, because I was retired and had time to drive in the daytime. And being disabled I'm dead tired by evening. Another reason for not driving in the evening is that I live in deer country. Outside of somewhere in New York, Northeast PA has the most deer in the US. And they are on the move at dusk. Deer aren't rational little animals-they will actually run into cars. I've hit three. Car insurance is rather expensive around here, because of them.

i havnt been out after 4pm for 7 yrs...
we used to go out and walk along the seafront, stop and have a drink and a snack, in one of our seafront bars and cafes,.....thats what i miss......☹️

The entire time that I was on patrol, I worked third shift only. When I became an Investigator, I worked across all three shifts. The best time to work is the night time. Day shift was boring.

Other than college, I never really have unless for the rare concert or hitting the occasional Blues club. I do occasionally go to dinner with friends but prefer to ride with someone rather than drive at night.

you stll recovering from shift work?
took me ages to shake off constant drowsiness

We go out at night every weekend. Went out to Walmart night before last because I needed insulin, then went to dinner. When our grandson has an out of town football game (his college is 3 hours away so ALL games are out of town)if we don`t stay the night in whatever town he is playing in,we get home around midnight. So yes,I (we) still go out at night frequently.

Sleep is a luxury. I have issues, not with going to sleep, but with staying asleep. I even have nightmares of the things that I witnessed both as a Marine and a Trooper, however, I'm not PTSD nor do I wake up yelling and screaming or any of those other terrible things that some people suffer with.

I'll just be sleeping and then an image will pop into my mind and I wake up. I try to go back to sleep, but I'm usually not successful. I guess you can say that I live on naps.
