I did have a favorite astrological mug with suns and moons and stars in gold against a cobalt blue background, but the handle broke off one day while I was washing it so I had to throw it away because the damage was irreparable. I did enjoy that mug though.

I have a coffee cup, that one of my niece's gave me over thirty years ago, it's a little worse for wear now and stays in the cabinet now.

I usually have my coffee in the cup my son sent me from Japan. It says dad, in Japanese, so I'm told. I'll have to take his word for it. He sent one for mom too.

I drink coffee at home only from my Whirley mugs. I have to buy them on eBay now because they are not made any more. They were sold as travel mugs, and I toss the lid and holder. Everyone thinks I am crazy for drinking coffee out of a plastic cup, except for one of my sons who favors the Whirley mugs, too.

Absolutely. I can use other mugs but they have to have the required features,, must be white, I cannot drink tea from say a green mug. Must be thin porcelain, I hate chunky mugs unless for chocolate. The handle should be wide, the shape cannot be top heavy, it has to be equal all the way up. It has to be narrow, I hate fat mugs.. It has to be scrupulously clean and no chips anyway no matter how small. Yep I am a wee bit picky about my mug

Yes, a large black one I got free from a Dr's office, for tea. I use Lipton tea bags. They would almost make two cups, so strong. Can't waste that tea.

I'm pretty undemanding with my cups but the Spousal Equivalent has a cup from which he MUST drink his one cup of coffee a day. When I do dishes, I handle that one with extreme care because it's irreplaceable and heaven help the fool that breaks it! It even travels with us.

I have 3 favorites, but often choose the brown one on the left. It's a smaller size and tapers at the top with keeps my morning cups of Joe nice and hot. MMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmm love my coffee!

Yes, I actually do. Favorite mug for tea or coffee, favorite glass for wine, last but not least a big tall glass for gin and tonic.
