Do you have a "hero" who is not quite "a good guy"?

That same movie was like background /elevator/ music today earlier. That kind of life costs too much , like many lives admittedly, to even think it is okay or any kind of good. To gain the whole world even, is not worth losing the soul.
What you wrote really hit me!
The soul goes on through eternity and yes, he devolved this life and his soul was sidetracked.
So, Why does this fascinate me? He "played" with people's lives like a puppeteer.
it's as though he were looking at this life from a completely different viewpoint.
Was it right? No. But after he dies and looks back, he's going to say "Wow, That was fun!"
But @JustJeff, I really liked what you said!

As kids, many of us thought of 'Santa' as a hero, but in later life I went off him, well, he always let his reindeers poo all over my roof. 😊

I must confess to a weakness for Clint Eastwood’s independent, system-bucking, stand-alone characters, even while I don’t align with the actor’s politics. Who could hold against that steely, squinty gaze?

My favorite bad guy was "Dexter" he only harmed those that deserved it.
Mostly, but he did kill some innocents. Most notably Doakes, he was responsible for that even if he did not do it himself. And the photographer he thought was killing his models, turns out he wasn't. But Dexter tried... most of the time.

It was a favorite show of mine.
