Do you have a "purple" matress? How is it?

Hubs and I have a Sleep Number bed, but he is increasingly unhappy with it. Or rather with his aches and pains. We have seen ads for the "Purple bed." https://purple.com There doesn't seem to be anywhere to test it in a store so I'm soliciting opinions. We bought a chair pillow of the same type, and it's awesome. Opinions, please. Thanks, y'all!

I just looked Purple Mattresses up on Consumer Reports. Their testers are meh about it and their readers give it widely mixed reviews. If you don't have a subscription to Consumer Reports, a highly respected non-profit testing and consumer advocate organization, I'd highly recommend one, especially for anyone considering a large purchase such as a $1000 mattress. https://www.consumerreports.org/

Maybe it's something you can only order online.

I need a new mattress myself and am agonizing over it. So many different options to choose these days. Not like 20 years ago.
