Do you have a realistic bucket list?

I have two novels in the works, so I guess finishing at least one of them is on my bucket list. I haven't touched them in over a year, though. The first one is at the rough draft stage and just needs to be polished, but that's a lot of frickin' work with no guaranteed return on all that time invested. I'm not one of those people who writes out of love for writing; for me, it's work. I had a story I wanted to tell, or get out of my system I guess is a better way to put it since it's semi-autobiographical. It's about a working class kid in small town U.S.A. back in the '70s. I don't know if there's a demand for that kind of thing any more since there have been so many books written in that genre already. My second novel is a hi-tech crime thriller set in present day, but it has a long way to go to even reach first draft status. It has a better chance of selling a few copies since it's more relevant to our hi-tech culture.
