Do you have experience with cataract surgery?

I just had both of my eyes done, a week apart. So far, I am happy with the results. I had the cataracts removed along with a astigmatism in one of my eyes. The surgery is easy. But there are lots of eye drops to put in the eyes, 4 times a day. I have 3 different kinds of eye drops to put in. Thank goodness for the cheat sheets to keep track of the drops.

Yep …me as well had mine done 13 years ago …I’ve never worn glasses full, time ….only ever for reading
Just had our yearly test done and he said I’ve got 20 ..20 vision..at 78 years old

I’m sorta lucky I get a very extensive test once a year ..compaired to what my hubs gets
Why …

.well because I was told I had diabetes some 20 years ago …

you get your eyes tested with a photograph of back of eyes/ retina / and a list of other eye issues ….but I was misdiagnosed I don’t have diabetes ….but once you have a medical issue added to your history it’s impossible to get it removed …so i have a diabetes eye test every year …and several drops ouch one of them stings …and I can’t see clearly for an hour or two

I had mine done last August and couldn't be happier with the results. The hardest thing to get used to after wearing glasses for almost 50 years is getting up in the morning and not reaching for my glasses! (I still do it!)

Be sure to follow your after-care instructions to the letter...the eye drops are vital!

Oh...and I had both of mine done at the same time with no problem whatsoever.
