Do You Have Favorite Brands of Sneakers and Jeans?

I love Chic pull on jeans. They're comfortable, fit well and there's no back pockets. I think back pockets make big butts look even bigger...that I don't need. My favorite sneaker brand is Sketchers. The styles I buy are plain except for a little bit of sparkle on each pair. I love sparkly, bling-y things.

So what brands are your favorites?

I also wear Sketchers because of the Goga mat insole... I discovered them while working on my feet up to 10 hours a day and ended up with PF .. they've been a literal foot saver..

Jeans I really don't care too much about the make over all, as long as they fit well. I usually get mine from a ladies store (their own brand) which has become a victim of the pandemic and closed all their branches this year forever....so I'm not sure where I'll get such a good fit again

I still like Levis, 720's ... but the older I get the more I want my jeans to feel lightweight on me.. as the former do.. and always with a little bit of stretch in them

I always wear Docker cargo pants...still.

Remember British Knights sneakers? I never wore a more comfortable pair of sneakers in that price range (very affordable) and they held up for over 10 years. Otherwise I gotta go with the far more pricey Nikes. I have a pair of them that's 18 years old and they look sweet with my 11 year old Dockers. 😛

Jeans;
Wrangler
regular fit for full leg pants
Good ones I even wear to parties, with sport jacket and black Tee

But, mostly I wear Lee cargo pants 10 months outa the year

.....and not much else

cargo shorts and not much else.jpg

Sneakers;
For fit/feel.....New Balance
There's no other for me, since I have such a big foot 14EEE

But I only wear them when in sports

I have three pair of hiking shoes
I wear 'em every day
The brand escapes me because I buy them in lots of four pair at a time, once I find the fit is good.
(and I'm too beat to get outa the laz-y-boy at the moment)

I like Rustler jeans for the just right fit for me and Wrangler for the same reason. My feet have changed so much as I've gotten older though, that I'm still looking for the better sneaker. The best feeling I have now are an old pair of Brooks. With the pandemic I'm a little leary of shoe shopping right now. It's best to try them on before you buy, so ordering by mail is out.

Jeans and me have just never gotten along.

I'm pear-shaped, and in order to fit my hips, thighs and buttocks, jeans end up miles too big in the waist, and if I were to fit my waist, then forget it, there's just no way they will fit my bottom, so I gave up wearing jeans many years ago.

I'm going to have a look at the Chic brand.

Thank you for mentioning the name, OneEyed.

Nike and Naturalizer for my tootsies! I stick to leggings (not the skin-tight type) as the 7/8 length fit me well (I'm just 5 ft. tall). Any jeans/pants I buy are always saggy in the seat and thighs.
Think about the positives, Pinky, a little extra sag, and you can run around the house and the saggy seat will do all the work for you, sweeping-up and dry-dusting the floors behind you! ROFL!

NYDJ in a petite. For years they were great. Now they’re too heavy weight or slim fit. I hate tight anything on my legs. My favourites are so thread bare I can’t walk out of the house in them, yet I do when wearing a long coat. The new ones that don’t feel nice hang in the closet.

Sketchers for my sneakers.

Jeans: All American Clothing, Diamond Gusset
Shoes: New Balance (US-made only), Rocky

If we don't support our domestic industries, we lose them. The past ten months have given us a glimpse of what happens when that occurs.

I don't wear jeans much right now but I do have Denver Hayes. I usually wear pull-on tie up cotton pants that aren't too tight or leggings. My running shoes are New Balance. I wear custom orthotics so I need to be picking when it comes to fit in my shoes.

I don't wear jeans, but I've been wearing New Balance walking sneakers for a couple of years
I walk alot so every 6 months or so I go to Kohls to buy the,its the only dept store that has them in my size 11B

I do not remember the last time I wore jeans. Maybe in college. I am not sure if these count as sneakers, but I always get New Balance walking shoes. They hold up well, and fit good. I get them with the velcro closures. Great help to me.

I used to love Skechers back when they first came out but they've ruined them with that memory foam insole. Never had a favorite brand of jeans. I like relaxed fit. Been wearing Lee's a lot.

The sneakers I buy are either Saucony or New Balance, and my sneakers and jeans I buy in men's sizes. My feet are big and wide, so that works best for me. My preferred brand of jeans is Levis. I don't have wide hips or thighs, but I am apple shaped as compared to pear shaped, so they fit better for me. I have gone to usually wearing cargo pants though, comfy and enough pockets to fit everything, doggie bags, phone, wallet, tissues, etc. I've never gone much for fashion, more of a comfortable and functional type. I do a lot of things outdoors, so casual suits me.

I never liked jeans. Loose fitting (meaning comfortable) clothes only. But I must admit I like seeing women in tight fitting jeans. Must be hard getting them off. :)

For my size 13 EEEE, I wear Puma, Sketchers and New Balance.

I've never heard of British Knights. Are they still being made?

@Aunt Marg You're welcome. I used to get Chic jeans at K-Mart but they all closed so the last pair I bought was online from Kohls.com Also I had bought a pair of Alfred Dunner jeans at my favorite thrift/consignment shop. They fit well and are lightweight compared to other jeans so I mostly wear them in the summer. I need to buy petites, not because I'm skinny though. LOL :ROFLMAO:

@IrisSenior & @moviequeen1 A couple of decades ago podiatrist told me to get New Balance sneakers so I bought two pair. I've had them all this time because they are not as comfortable as my Sketchers so I've hardly worn them. Obviously they are a good brand though.

I wear Levis 720s also. I have the denim jean and the blk jean. That's all I wear. There was time when I thought I needed a lot of jeans or tops...but I never wore them. So now I've cut back on my clothes spending, cause they just don't get worn.

I'm looking for a new pair of blk Reebock tennis shoes. I've had them in the past, but haven't worn them in maybe 10 or more years.
