Do You Have Peacock? I Canceled Today.

Their annual subscription price has gone up from $79.99 to $109.99. Not worth it for me since all the shows I watched on there have been canceled. They were Found, The Irrational, Resident Alien and Wolf Like Me. Also Departure, for which I was looking forward to a 3rd season, is no longer available on Peacock. I will still be able to watch certain content for free, but as of now I don't know what freebies will be included. My current plan expires on Sept 10th; I'll find out then. So I'll watch the docs on Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Jose Feliciano before the 10th.

Do you have Peacock Plus? If so, what are you watching?

I enjoyed Resident Alien, thanks for the heads up I will check my sub. and see when it's due.

I get Peacock for free through my cable co. but if I were paying I think I'd probably cancel; Poker Face is the only show I've watched on it and I'm getting kind of tired of it: it usually has great guest stars but the writing doesn't seem as good this last season.

Yes, we do have Peacock Plus. We pay $16.00/month. (No commercials.)
We watch The Irrational, Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Law & Order, Law & Order Special Victims, Law & Order Organized Crime, Dateline, Prime Suspect and some movies and documentaries.
Without commercials, those TV shows are available one day after it aired on regular TV.
We like Peacock Plus. It is a nice addition to other streaming services.

Same here! Comcast/Xfinity is garbage, but at least we get Peacock+ for free...

DH and I agree that Poker Face is not as good as last season.

I don't read thread titles correctly the first time. After it first makes no sense to me, I have to read it again until I get it right.

So you weren't asking if people owned a peacock as a pet and you therefore weren't suggesting that they "cancel" it if they do.
Initially, I thought the same so don't feel bad. I've never used Peacock or Tubi. I hate ads so that wouldn't work.:ROFLMAO:

Don't all the ads drive you crazy? Can't watch TUBI for that reason.
Not really, I am a habitual multitasker, while the ads come on I am running around doing small things I should be doing anyway  I just like the variety of things I have not seen on TUBI, I get so sick of Netflix, Paramount, etc showing the same things for months and maybe once a month put one new show on I may like. I don't just watch Tubi, I do bounce back and forth.

I did finally get off procrastinating and canceled my Paramount sub. and waited, then resigned up on my WalMart+ for free. The savings of that took a bug chunk off my WalMart sub, Win Win thing. Wish I had got off the can did it sooner.

I don’t have any of those streaming services. They really like to suck you in with one or two offerings for the large amount of money they charge you. And that includes Hallmark and their Hallmark plus Channel. I am so angry about that.

I have a medium size Dish package. If I can’t find something on those 100+ channels to entertain me then that’s just too bad lol lol

@IrishEyes You're welcome, glad my post served as a reminder. I'm also glad I checked the email for my Peacock login. I don't do it on a regular basis and that's where I saw the notification about renewal, which was due earlier than I thought.

@Aunt Bea I already have Tubi. Didn't think I'd like it but I do for the most part. For some reason a couple of Gen-X'ers I know were knocking it. I told one that I like it mostly for the disaster and Sci-fi movies.

@Pepper and @chic I used to be "allergic" to ads too  but like @IrishEyes when they come on, I just play a game on my phone or get up and do something.

@Rossana I always thought shows streamed the day after too...but Resident Alien streams a week after. Can't wait to see the series finale later today.

@RedAlert76 I started a thread about Howdy. I was going to check it out, but don't want to subscribe via the Roku app. When I went online, the website wasn't recognizing my login info (which I know is correct). I have enough other streaming services, including free, that if it becomes a hassle, I won't bother.

@OldFeller and @Jazzy1 Y'all thought I was talking about the bird?! ROFLM*O!

No I don't have Peakcock. I was offered some months of free trial, but I never signed up. I am not interested in sitting in front of TV for any period of time.
