I've heard this song played at some weddings, and I'm aware that some couples have described this song as an "our song".
Which to me seems strange considering its a song about a breakup and stalking!
Every Breath You Take by The Police (1983)
The singer-songwriter, Sting, is alleged to have said, "One couple told me 'Oh we love that song; it was the main song played at our wedding!' I thought, 'Well, good luck'". He went on to say, "I think the song is very, very sinister and ugly and people have actually misinterpreted it as being a gentle little love song, when it's quite the opposite."
