Do you know the difference between cut glass and diamonds?

It’s not the stuff that’s the problem, it’s our personal value system that needs work. 😉🤭😂

When I was young and ‘desirable’, lol!!!

Someone gave me a very, very, expensive cigarette lighter. I enjoyed flashing it around when I was out in the clubs and was sad when no one noticed. I wasted so much time worrying about that damn lighter that it finally ended up in the back of a drawer and I went back to an inexpensive Bic disposable lighter that came in packs of five.

If things or people complicate your life don’t be afraid to let go and see what happens.

I have often been fascinated by that.
If one had a diamond necklace, they might place a great deal of value on it for years.
Then after 20 years or so, they discover that it's really CZ, then all of a sudden it doesn't have the same value to them, even though it's the same necklace. Nothing has changed but the concept of it's composition.

My son's fiancee made it clear that she did not want him to spend a lot of money for an engagement ring because the money would be best used for something else. Believe it or not, they saw some beautiful fake diamonds in Walmart ! He bought her a moissanite ring (though not from Walmart) that is absolutely gorgeous. Apparently moissanite has even fooled professionals into thinking the ring(s) are real diamonds.

My hubby's family has been jewelers for generations, originally in Chicago, Kuba Jewelers, then moving to Oak Park
when the grandparents passed. Hubby knows his stuff though his expertise is Engraving. He still has his jewelers loop
and has helped many people we know from getting ripped off and seen many get quite upset after purchase elsewhere.

Unless, it was part of one's retirement planning.

I can tell if a Diamond is real using 2 things, a 20x microscope and a hardness tester using the Mohs scale.
Every jeweler has these, even though they will seldom say they do.
