Do you know what my new avatar is?

No, it is not a new wristwatch. So try to come up with something else, and maybe you have one or should have one...

Yup! A great improvement over the previous one as it is so easy to use and you can keep it on for periods of time. It is part of my strategy to avoid the doctor...

They have been using one of those on me-both the home health nurse who comes here and at the hospital after they put my port in. Because of having had breast cancer, they don`t want any blood pressure cuffs, blood draws or anything done on my left side. So then they put the pic line in my right inner arm, above the elbow,so now there is no place to use a blood pressure cuff. So they use the wrist cuff. I was thinking about getting one of those a while back but heard they are not as accurate as the arm cuff. Not sure if that`s true or not.

This "avatar" looks very similar to the Omron blood pressure monitor we keep at home. Ours is Quite accurate, and measures virtually the same as any readings we have gotten at the doctors office. It is easy to use, and well worth having. Here is the current model and price at Walmart....worth every penny...IMO.

I've been told they're not as accurate.
