Do you know your waist measurement?

Recently I was looking at a pair of pants, and the department
lady, was kind and inquired as to my waist size. I had to chuckle
to myself, I have not a clue. SO, when I got home, took out the
measurement tape and checked it.

That will remain a private matter LOL.

Assuming that the waist is the narrowest place when looking at myself in the mirror, I would NOT want pants that came up that high. I wonder if waist size for pants should be farther down.

I can understand a male knowing. Women are so touchy we measure it by xs,s,m,l, and then go definitely to stretch pants
Numbers are a cause for depression in females.

some folks wear their pants on their hips as you know, might feel more comfortable,
but I don't like tight fitting pants of any type on my waist for fluffy waist reasons

best I could, held my breath till I almost passed out, then checked the measurement
while standing in front of the mirror LOL

I don't know my current height nor do I want to. I was 5'4" in my 30s. That's remained my story ever since, and I'm sticking to it.

That is odd. At every medical appointment I go to they weigh me, and measure my height. Current weight is 78 kilos, height is 176 centimeters.

During my long hospitalization last year ( about 300 days in total ) I lost about 20 kilos of body weight , so most of my clothes no longer fit me properly, too big. As the weather is getting warmer now, I will go and buy some smaller size clothes in summer weight fabrics. Even my shoe size had gotten smaller. JIMB>

I am per today, height 5'4", 155 pounds, waist untold, hips untold,
but smiling and lighthearted. Salt and Pepper hair with brown foils
and I wear a size 7 1/2 shoe. This ole gal is looking decent for sure

Congratulations on your weight loss. You must be feeling pretty good that you lost 20 kilos. That’s a significant amount of weight to lose. Have fun shopping for new clothes.
