I'm sorry if this has been a topic of a post before, but couldn't find one... Let me know though, OK??
I have turned them down 6 times...did not WANT to switch from my familiar Windows 7.... but this morning, unbeknownest to be and without 'forewarning' ...the $%$#!! thing downloaded... I was SO upset...couldn't even figure out how to turn the computer off and on... OK...so it got better (obviously I am writing this post :)) ....but I still don't like it... All my pictures, documents, etc not available...
Unless you are fortunate enough to own an Apple... how do the rest of you like "10".... Maybe I'm just not giving it a chance... but this is like learning to use a computer all over again and I feel resentful. (being a stuck in the mud ol' lady, eh??? ) I understand its 'supposed' to be easy to go back to the "7" I like. Opinions?? Thanks, everyone.

My husband loaded it on his computer. It allowed him to go back to Windows 8 if he didn't like it. He hated it. Me , I won't even touch windows eight.Leave me and windows 7 alone. I love 7 so much that I have ordered two computers from Dell with windows 7. I am thrilled they still offer 7.

Me, too, Pandee!! I took a chance on UNloading "10" and it took exactly 8 minutes!! no hitches or glitches...AND THEN... there was my beloved "7" ... had lost NOTHING...even though one of the Googled MSN sites said I probably would lose files and pictures...but nope!
I am glad some people seem to like "10"... and that's just ducky dandy for them! :)
This whole mess, though, managed to point out (rather strongly!) that I am Waaaay to attached and dependent upon the Internet....:(

I haven't had any problems since downloading Windows 10, there isn't that much difference between 7 & 10. In the near future there will be no updates, security or otherwise for 7 or 8.

I recently bought a new computer that came with Windows 10 and was cheaper than others with 7 or 8. I can do everything I was doing with 7 so I am happy. It has many features that I don't use, understand, need, or care about. When I'm ready I'll venture out and navigate but for now all is good.

You are in a most favorable position. Cheers! ;)
