Do you like the Bee Gees?

Yes, I'm a great fan of theirs. However, I am curious as to who wrote the words of their songs, because some of them sound a bit pathetic, to be honest.
they wrote all their songs themselves.. and many songs for other singers. which were massive hits, .. for example, Islands in the Stream... ..Dolly Parton & kenny Rogers had a hit with it... heartbreaker - Dionne Warwick.... Grease - Frankie Valli......Woman in love - Barbra Streisand... and more...

they had a great childhood.. and life... I saw their Biopic, and also read the books, and watch the interviews... they did tke a whole pile of drugs at one time in their career.. and Maurice was an alcoholic.. they said that without the drugs they couldn't write..

They're not the first band to say this tbh......their youngest brother Andy died due to a Heart attack , officially as a viral infection but he was heavily into drugs...

My favorites are all the ones you all have posted here.

I think they're brilliant, great songs and matchless harmony. They wrote the song track for "Saturday Night Fever," in just a matter of days, and wrote for other people like Dionne Warwick and Dolly Parton. All the biopics and documentaries about them are so entertaining, they had a great life, so sorry only Barry is left lonely without his brothers.

Never a fan of the Bee Gees, largely because I just couldn't stand disco. I called it "thumpus uninterruptus". Yeah, they did stuff before the disco craze of the 70s, but nah.

One good thing about them, though -- they always wrote their own music.

Not to be mean, they were adorable little boys, but whenever I watch their childhood performances, I think a special lifetime achievement award should go to their dentist.
