Where I live there’s a difference between scone and biscuit


A scone is dense, crumbly, and drier; it doesn't flake like a biscuit but rather crumbles into delicious goodness. A scone is also usually larger than a biscuit and has more liquid in its ingredients. It contains eggs and usually has more butter and sugar than biscuits do.

Well I am a hypocrite. I just don't think about what's in black pudding or in haggis which I love too.

I make a really tasty "citrus trifle" with pound cake, mandarin oranges and whipped cream that's always a big hit at holidays.

As far as "pudding" goes, I like flan the best.
