Do you look very like your family members?

Every combination of eye and hair color and complexion. Different builds, too. Radically different personalities, also.

When we finally learned about and saw a picture of my father's "biological" mother, one of my sisters had a strong resemblance to her.

Now, on the other hand, my former brother-in-law had 7 siblings and they all looked like they had been cut out with the same cookie cutter (which was not bad for the boys but very unfortunate for the girls).

My late husband had 10 siblings. There was a bit of an appearance theme running through them but nothing striking.

I look just like my mother. I'd walk in to our church and the older church ladies would ask me if so an so was my mother.......never failed to happen.

My cousin and I look alike also. When we go out to lunch, I tell the hostess that if she sees a girl walk in that looks like me to direct her to my table.

All of us kids and cousins all have a resemblance to my mom's side of the family. Stronger genes, I suppose.
 
I have a funny story. One time I was shopping at the mall, and I glanced to my side and thought I saw my sister. It was my own reflection in a mirror! Another time, I ran into a neighbor and had a nice conversation with him, until he laughed and introduced himself as my neighbor's twin brother!
 
Papa always said that I was a taller version of his mother, aka my paternal grandmother.

Sifting through photo albums growing up, found a girl's picture which looked exactly like myself. Years later when I began going out with the guy who became my husband, we were told that we were the doppelgangers of my maternal great-grandparents.

It meant that I had a glance at my future husband when I was age 7. Yes, my husband looked exactly the same as GGF Thomas when he reached 60 years old and his hair turned white. Eerie but true!

same here.. one brother and one sister have brown eyes.. one has green eyes.. 2 have blue...2 have grey ... 2 are /were blonde... 2 have jet black hair... .. one girl is 6 inches taller than the rest of the girls..

Father had brown eyes, mother had blue..

No-one thinks we're related.. .. except one time someone asked me if I was my Brother A's sister.. when I asked how they knew they said we had the same walk..
 
I have a brother who is fourteen years older than me and and when you look at pictures of us at the same ages its hard to tell who's who. That scares me because he is now seventy seven and looks like he's over a hundred. I hope I age better than that!

But overall I can see both my parents in us sibilings.

well going by how you look now... I think you'll look fine in 14 years time...
