Meat of any kind must be cooked before I'll eat it.

I prefer "Run-of-the-mill kind of food and not much interested in "unusual" things.

I've had liver & onions before but I'd never order it again.

I love liver and onions fried in bacon grease. I know it's not good for you, but the 2-3 times a year that I have it isn't going to shorten my lifespan more than five minutes or so, and I would hope those five minutes would be the ones I'll be spending in the nursing home drooling on myself.

Give me some fried chicken livers, too, while you're at it! Another five minutes off would be good.

I never been into organs much
skinning, dressing out deer, gazing at those livers, spleens and such
nada
even some animals put me off a bit
however
ate some dog in mainland China
didn't know it
best chow mein I ever had

I don't like liver and onions. What I do wish I enjoyed are pancakes. We go to IHop occasionally on seniors day and I see all the people around me with stacks of pancakes with all different toppings, whipped cream, and fruit, the hubby included. They look like they are in 7th heaven and it looks so good. I usually get an omelet and hash browns. The hubby loves them so much I make them for his birthday dinner with strawberries and cream and he is very happy.

All this talk about liver and onions gave me a craving so I dropped a little hint this morning......guess what mama fixed me for supper tonight ? :)

I love liver and onions fried in bacon grease.
I was made to eat liver and onions as a boy. Never ate it by choice.
Even though I eventually realized mom was a pretty bad cook, and I've tried quite a few things I didn't like as a boy (as cooked by her), I've never 'tried' liver.
I would try it fried in bacon grease. Bacon is magical - it even makes waterchestnuts a treat!

But, I will never, and I mean NEVER, eat brussle sprouts again. Just smelling them makes me physically nauseous!!

To be fair and honest - Mom is a pretty good baker.
