Do you, or did you have a cleaning service?

When I lived in Texas I had both a cleaner (which frankly was my wife's choice) and a gardener (which was my choice). My excuse for the gardener is that it gets so hot and humid in Houston that any kind of gardening was a real chore.

I hope you tipped her well. Working for three but you paying for only two is wage theft.

She was on her own, not a service. i tried to 'tip' her but she refused it. She once said , now that I have your place the way {I} she wanted it, it was a breeze to keep up. Did I mention .... she was young. 34 [I think].

Too bad I wasn't living near you. I was a house cleaner for 30 years. I had 2-3 houses a day. A lot of work, but payed well, and I was my own boss. I had helpers about half the time. One thing...( It is EXTRA to do windows! )

She did windows .... And not only that, I had one that was broken [stuck in the track] She called her boyfriend [the dirty rat that stole her from me] and he came over and repaired it ..... no charge. dang I miss that young lady.
