Do you own a big car or SUV?

Have a Trailblazer that's been the most practical vehicle I've ever had. (y) Whether pulling a trailer, stuffing lumber in it, or towing behind the motor home, it's hard to beat. Plus, the 3rd row seating means we can carry all the family in comfort. :)
Also got the Dodge diesel work horse for hauling the many big trailers I have. And, I still have my 99 Grand Vitara mini SUV for knock around stuff.

No. I don't need a big vehicle for a few bags of groceries. I love my Honda Accord Hybrid. 50 mpg. And a top safety rating. :giggle:

After my brother wrecked my dad's beautiful 1957 white Buick Roadmaster he bought a 1957 Lincoln. It had this huge white steering wheel and long tail fins. Truly an American symbol of luxury. Then he bought a 1963 white, four (gangster) door Lincoln. It was a tank and inside it looked like the Ritz. I drove it on our HS prom night. The story of Toyota and Honda's overthrow of the Big 3 automakers is a classic example of companies going out of their way to learn exactly what consumers want and need. Detroit is still embarrassed about their ignorance and arrogance back then.

I drive an 18 year old intermediate size 4X4 pickup with a V8 engine. Not much for gas mileage, but then I just drive locally most of the time these days.
