Do you own a firearm?

I'm pro gun, but I am concerned about gun deaths. Just too many shootings. But I believe this shoud be blamed on people, not the firearms.

We've got to remember people were killing each other long before firearms were invented.

It is likely that if all guns vanished from America there would be less killings. However, with so many guns out there it would be impossible to get rid of them all. I'm pretty sure a strict gun ban would result in law abiding citizens at the mercy of gun wielding criminals...

I had no idea what it was intended t o say.

and yes I did because you were still missing point about vast number of break ins here being when occupants are not home - yet you kept posting them as if they were relevant t o scenario of self defence.

Thanks for letting me know that your questions about my previous post have apparently been resolved.

I didn't "miss" the point. I got it, and understood your perspective. Although statistics bear a certain relevance to this topic, they don't significantly influence my own personal decisions on safeguarding my life and property.

Have a good weekend.

I own two 12 gauge shotguns and an ancient BSA air rifle, they are still in New Zealand because Australia is not the greatest place for recreational hunting or gun ownership.
I'm contemplating moving to Tasmania where it may be possible to live rurally and get firearms licence.

I do own guns.
Self defense being only one reason.
Some of them were passed down from my dad, the rest I bought because they were interesting, or something new I wanted to try.
Some are just good looking.
There are some I'll never sell, but I do want to thin the herd a bit.
The last couple years I have sold over 50 guns, and I still need to sell another hundred or so, but it's hard to part with them.
