Haha. I'm in a silly mood. Of course we all do somewhat and I'm guessing some more than others.

I have had a nose problem for ages now. When the heat is on my nose gets all dried up inside and very uncomfortable 😖 So I try to alleviate this distress. I sometimes put water up there or antibiotic cream or Vaseline. I always have this problem although it's worse in Winter.

How about you 😌

If I've had a cold and everything gets dried and crusty and nasty, then yes, to create some breathing space,

One slow night at work, the topic came up about boogers that took up squatters rights in your nose. You know the ones, no matter how hard you blew your nose they refused to leave & you were trying so hard that you became light headed. My supervisor said, there was no other way but to evict them with the help of a finger.

Ha Ha, I agree, Vaseline does the trick for many ailments.

I had crud in nose all my life. But not no more.....

In late 2021 I had Heart issue and the put me on CPAP but i could not breath good.
Went to ENT and he said I had blockages and old damage and was surprised i could breath at all - ha !

He did 3 Nasal Surgeries and now near 18 month later - I can breathe good, and I don't have hardly any debris or stuff in my nose. It really was a dramatic difference. No need for CPAP.

Turns out that as a young kid in the 6 to ~13 year old age when I played school and neighborhood sports, mostly football that I had my Nose busted so much that it did the damage. I did have to have my nose cauterized a couple of times as my Nose would not stop bleeding. I still remember the red hot wire the Doctor put up my nose, the burnt smell and pain.... ha !
But we did not know any better as we just played rough as most boys do.

As the ENT predicted, I don't have Allergy issues, Sinus stopped up and I don't think I have had a Cold since all the surgeries he did.

Dam shame it took over 50 year to figure out ! Better late than never - ha!

I keep my nose cleaned out so I can breath well.
I've mentioned on here that I use mouth tape at night so that I breath through my nose as we should. A small piece of medical tape does the trick, no need for expensive tapes made exclusively for this.
I will automatically pull it off in my sleep if there's a reason.
I still snore but DH says its just a low steady breath not the "stop breathing then gasp for air" type snoring.
I sleep well....if I only didn't have to get up and pee once a night.
