I never read the book but I understand the ending is very sad. I'm not sure I want to sit there sobbing. Are you going to watch the movie?

I am curious what Harrison Ford is gonna do with the role. He’s the oldest to play JohnThornton so far at 77. The other actors who were in that role were Gable, 34, Heston 48 and Rutger Hauer 52.

I didn't realize there were so many remakes. It would be interesting to see who did the best job.

Clark Gable and Loretta Young answered the Call of the Wild during filming. Loretta Young's "adopted" daughter was born the following year.

Jack London was only six months in the Alaskan gold fields, but he sure made good use of the experience with many books written about it. "The Call of the Wild" was one of my favorites.

I'm a life long dog lover,I'll see any movie good or bad that features a dog
After seeing the movie trailer a couple of times,I realized the dog wasn't real but CGI -Computer Generated Image.
I'm still thinking of seeing the movie,it has received mixed reviews
