Do you remember your first kiss?

I remember my first innocent kiss, we were 5. Her name was Julie, she was my girl friend.

Absolutely remember my first real kiss, it was fabulous. She was a very good kisser and it lasted about 15 minutes. I was hooked.

I was thirteen, he too. (His last name was Lovejoy. ) I don't remember why we kissed (In front of my old A F 'barracks' apt. home), but it made me happy because I had a crush on him. I don't think he felt the same for me. However, his gregarious brother did have a crush on me. Bummer. I did not even like the guy.

Yes. She was sitting on a swing and we were talking. It had just started to get dark and I leaned forward and kissed her. Thought my heart was going to jump out of my chest. Especially since she leaned over and kissed me back.

I was a freshman in HS. Needed a ride home after band practice. A couple older girls offered me a ride home, but it would cost me a kiss. I couldn't see a downside, so it was on. The first one was so-so, but the second one ... Wow!, it kept me awake all night. After that we dated till she left for college. Fun times.

I was told of a couple who really did want to kiss each other, but were scared of passing on unpleasant germs, so they were advised to use masks. The WW2 gas masks were a bit over the top I thought.

I can relate to that. I started to post similar feelings but held back.

It's funny how awful kissing can be the first time. Awkward and even gross. It's a wonder people get past it enough to manage more. It's like taking a bite of a disgusting pickle you don't like and then deciding well...maybe one more bite just to make sure it's actually icky.
