Do you shed a lot? šŸ¤”

Yes, I have half the hair I had just 10 years ago. I have to clean out my hair screen after each shower.
Not clumps but enough to block it up to a slow drain. I take vitamins, and it did slow it down and new
hair comes in quicker so it's hard not to have those shorter fly away hairs at times. I find them on my
sweaters especially because of the material catching them more than a T-shirt.

Yes I shed a lot..I’ve got long hair and I find the hairs everywhere. On my clothes, on my rug, in the vehicles, down the drain. And yes I shed my than my dogs. My husband shaves his head so none of his hairs are found cause he doesn’t have any. Lol šŸ˜‚

Yes, but I think my hair problems are chemo-related. First, my hair did not start growing back in until a year after chemo was done. It is a different color. It is a different - I dunno what it's called -- texture. It is very fine and not curly. It is very thin and I just got some hair covers from amazon so it won't fall out over food. Yesterday I noticed a thick strand of several hairs is dark brown. I have never had brown hair in my life. My parents had dark brown hair. Their 3 children had mid to dark blonde hair (like ash blonde, I think). Anyway, the entire hair after chemo thing is weird.

I'm about to start microneedling treatment. And eventually I will succumb to wearing a wig. In 9th grade, wigs were all the rage in Louisville, KY. Half the girls wore wigs. I swore then I would never do that. And now, I'm currently wondering if people can tell it's a wig, if people try pulling it off for a joke, and if it is worth paying $900+ for a human hair wig. I would like a wig that no one can tell is a wig.

It's not just hair. Cancer treatment ages people. This is a freaking unfortunate fact. If you saw my photo in early 2020 compared to late 2021, you would think I wasn't the same person. I don't go out in public often because of my appearance. Maybe I can get a head transplant. The rest of me, I can't complain about. It is normal. The head though, needs to go or get fixed.

My ex and my brother wear a toupet. These things are fabulous. Nobody sees it and nowadays these wigs are even better.

Oh yes. I shed so much. There have been so many times that when I sweep up my hair I say, "If I didn't know better, I would think I was a cat". I know cats shed a lot!

I don’t, hardly at all!

Granted, I keep my hair fairly short, but even so I never see strands on my clothing or in the
bathroom. I have to clean my brushes every few weeks, but that’s really it.

My hairdresser frequently comments on how thick my hair is and how fast it grows. It’s salt and pepper gray now, and I expected as it grayed the texture would change but it’s still soft and silky.

I take a lot of supplements, none specifically for hair, but several include hair strength as part of the description so I wonder if that helped. On the other hand, both parents had thick hair even in old age, so it may be genetic. Or a combination of both things.

Ron keeps his head shaved, though I do occasionally find beard hair in the sink! šŸ˜‰

Not really.. but enough to make me glad I no longer need the vacuum cleaner I'd been using because I bought a Shop-vac.

Previously, with most of my apartment carpeted, I had to stop vacuuming every few minutes and clean/cut hair out of the vacuum.
