Do you sleep in the raw? What nightime rituals do you do?

At time I enjoyed sleeping in the raw, but now. not so much. One thing that I've started is sleeping fully clothed, and not getting under the covers. I'm really not sure why, but occasionally, I like to do that. I do have a few nighttime rituals. I have to put a pillow between my legs, but it has to be just the RIGHT way. And I leave a light on. That way when I have to make my 3:34 AM pit stop, I don't have to fumble with a light switch on the lamp.
LOL this thread should be in the SF time capsule.

I tried a couple times to sleep in the buff but...I just can't do it. I worry about someone breaking in or there being a fire. Two times I'd definitely want some clothes on.

I don't have a ritual. I come home from work...shower & get into my jammies.

Always wear jammies. They call to me these days at about 7 o'clock. In bed somewhere past 9, I read, and ask Alexa to play relaxing music. Asleep by ten. Up at 6:15.

Do I sleep in the raw?

What a nosey, intrusive question that is!

I would never divulge to anyone that I sleep in the raw, and make sure that the pillows are well puffed up, and there is always plenty of space for my dream visitors.
Also, I would never tell anyone that Gina Lollobrigida and a certain Miss Monroe are regular dream visitors. 😊

Spring, summer and fall au natural. Winter I wear socks because my feet get cold and I don't like walking over the cold floors in bare feet in the winter. Since we're talking SF bay area winters you can tell how much of a tenderfoot I am.

Before going to bed I usually put all my clothing for the next day in the bathroom along with my shoes. When I get up in the morning I generally try to do it without waking the wifey and then hopefully get the dogs out on their walk without waking her as well.

I wear pajama pants and a T shirt. If I should happen to trip over the cat during a nocturnal bathroom trip, I don't want the ambulance boys seeing me naked.

Before getting into bed I feed the fish, feed the bird, feed the cat and then lower the blinds so the sun doesn't awaken me at 4:30am. As soon as I get into bed, the cat hops up and requires excessive head patting and ear scratching before we both can go to sleep.

It could be worse. My husband could have left me with even more critters to cater to...

Cotton nightie year-round. I like my feet covered but can't stand the sheets tucked in. I always have to have a fan on, both for the air movement and for the white noise. No lights at all. The Spousal Equivalent snores, so often there's a pillow on my head.

I am like you (minus the S.E.) I also always keep the feet covered, even in hot weather. Do not want to be grabbed by monster under the bed. o_O

Birthday suits for both dear husband and I.

Bath/shower right before bed, floss, brush, gargle, a drink of water, set radio to sleep, night-night.

I love my several Eileen West long pretty cotton nightgowns and wear one of them every night. I hate to be hot at night and I never want the room warmer than 70 degrees year round. I never use the bedroom TV, or read before bed. I need my water on the table. I say my nightly prayers and chew up a cannabis infused gummie (legal here) and sleep like a baby.

Man that’s funny @Marie5656 ! 😂 I thought it was just me!!!

I have an irrational fear of trailing one leg off the bed! I know that is completely ridiculous, but I just can’t stop feeling vulnerable and like it SUCH a temptation for “something” to grab it! 🤦🏼‍♀😱🤦🏼‍♀😂

This is the stuff that is important to know. Especially after watching a scary movie before bed

I'm the opposite. Can't sleep with anything on my feet no matter how cold it is. I wear an oversized tee shirt and sleep boxers to bed, but my feet are not only bare, they're almost always sticking out from under the covers. My feet have to be free!!!!

Same here- but I have a third reason. Quite a few years ago, I overslept on a morning that the apartment manager and maintenance guy were due to show up.. throughout my life, til crime increase in recent years changed it, I'd always slept like a rock.. so the manager and maintenance guy simply unlocked the door, came in, checked whatever they needed to check, and left. I didn't even know they were here til I messaged the manager and asked him when they were coming. It was kinda creepy- knowing they were in here while I was asleep.

Although this incident wasn't the reason, I'm glad I asked another maintenance guy to put a small clip lock on the outside door- nobody can simply unlock the door and walk in.

I sleep au natural all 4 seasons. In extremely cold winter nights, I sleep with socks on after I rub Vicks vaporub on my feet. I like to tuck in cotton sprayed with vintage Diorissimo to fluffy body pillows which I hug through the night.

I had that happen once. The landlord & his assistant walked in to fix something while I was sleeping. I came out of that bed screaming at them & they got the hell outta there. A few minutes later I hear this tap at the door. They were very apologetic & wanted to know if they could come in & fix the thing they were there for. I scared them worse than they scared me. LOL

Early in our marriage the hubs and I slept nekkid but stopped soon after our kids were born. Didn't cramp our style for other bed activities - indeed I've always found the removal of clothing to be a sensuous aspect of the erotic dance.

At any rate, given how often little ones cry, get sick, have nightmares, crawl into their parents' bed, or need other attention during the night, we found it impractical to have to throw on robes or clothing before attending to them.

I sleep more soundly with a little bit of clothing on.

My cat keeps pawing up and down for ages - the contentment type of pawing (if that make's sense) and the head patting - nudges me with her head if I dare to stop until she's had enough. Don't take my jim jams off until I know she's settled. Too risky other wise.
