Do You Still Go To The Movie Theater ?

Little over a year ago, nice lady across the street and I went to see a movie at the local theater.
It was a Tuesday Matinee ... senior discount ... and we were the only 2 in the entire theater !!!
Well, they have multi screens but we were the only ones at our screen. Maybe because it was just a bad movie D'OH
That was the first time in years, I'd been.
Now that Covid is less of a threat I might start going to films again. An off hour is the best time.

No theater for several years. We have a spare bedroom. Before we retired I acquired a digital projector and got a deal on on a motorized 106” screen. Using a DVD player fed to the projector, one that can also access the Internet, we watch Prime movies and I have a thing for thrift shops where movie disks can be picked up for a Buck.
Yup deals galore at both charity shops or CEX shops and also a website called MUSIC MAGPIE. We've been replacing DVDs recorded from the TV when that was still available.

Great way to have Entertainment on the low price side of things and the charity shop gets help, double whammy. Thumbs up!

I went to the theater in 2014, and saw Fantastic Four. That was a pretty bad movie, but I am a superhero buff.

These days it's just too hard to get to a theater. I use a walker, so I'd need to call a taxi. That's a minimum of $20 round trip. I can wait a few weeks or a month and watch the movie streaming online at my leisure.
