Do you still have your High School Yearbook?

I moved away from my home town after I graduated but my older sister stayed so she would call me and talk about this person or that person. Most time I could not recall them so she made me drag out my yearbooks so I knew whom she was talking about.

I have mine from 1972, the half century reunion celebration is scheduled for September.

Hey Aunt Bea, I still have mine and my Class of 72 has our 50th in August.
I recently helped a neighbor move to her son's home and hauled away many things for the thrift store. As i looked through to see what I wanted, in a box labeled Danny's crap were books and year books from both of her sons. I set them in a smaller box and called to suggest she keep them. The boys are in their 30s now but later they will appreciate having them. Thing matter differently at various times of our lives.
Kids from High school that may have been jerks change along the way. The football star who used to get great sport by peeing on the retarded boy in gym class became the district attorney and has a big family. That might not be a good example he might still be an ass.

Yes, I still have mine. Hard to believe some of the stuff people signed in my senior yearbook.
lol - Some young lady wrote "Dear Buckeye, I'll never forget our night at the drive-in movie. Debbie" There were only a couple of Debbies at our school, and I sure don't remember such a night with either one of them. And I'm gonna guess that she doesn't remember either....

To be fair, it has been about 60 years ago

I Dont Think we Had Year Books in The UK.....Is That The Same As yearly Reports ?

A yearbook contains individual pictures of the class, as well as a host of group, and school activity pictures. There's anecdotes and funny events, sports statistics & school news for one year, usually the graduating year. The book has to be purchased by the student.

No I never bought one. Moving every couple of years I never formed any close attachment to anyone at my high school except for one guy who I played sports with after school, another I used to ride skateboards with a few years out and one young woman who I married at 21. But I didn’t know either of the latter two while I was in high school and haven’t kept up with any of them. I went to two different high schools, each for two years. Classmates were just more faces in the crowd.

Yep all three as does my wife, although she was from a different town than I was. I met her in College. We are 73...or will be this year. Been married for almost 53 years...still newlyweds? SMILE

Ok thanks …we never had them !

It's lost somewhere in the apartment. I also have my mother's from mid 1930's. Have 2 of my Jr. High yearbooks too. Former Minnesota Senator Norm Coleman was in my jr. high class. He was a nice boy.

Yes, my mother had it when she passed @ 89. My sisters cleaned out our mother's hoard finding it & passed it along to me. Still sits in the top of my closet
