Do You Still Wear Jeans?

Absolutely. Funny thing, when I was a teenager and young adult one of my concerns was that when I got older I would no longer be able to wear jeans. I think this came from my father always wearing dress pants. Now I'm older and I'm rarely dressed in anything other than jeans or gym clothes.

Some think they are only for the young. I watched two young girls snickering and pointing at a lady today wearing jeans, she had to be over 70, but she was sporting the ripped jean look with the rips in obvious places meant to show skin, lots of skin.

They were not laughing at me and I was wearing jeans and a tee. Or maybe they were behind my back. Do the young think they have a monopoly on fashion?

Nothing a comfy as a well worn pair of jeans for me.
I still wear jeans when I can fit my butt into them comfortably. I'm on a weight loss journey again. When I lose a few pounds I can wear my jeans. Right now sweatpants are subbing for them. I even have a pair that has material that looks like denim. I think if an older woman is dressed so that she looks classy in her jeans, then why not. Someone 70 wearing the ripped jeans, showing skin...yeah I understand why the young ladies found that funny. Heck I think it's ridiculous when young people wear them.

I happen to be wearing a pair right now and two others are in the closet.

I go to thrift stores less than once a year - generally for some sort of costume for myself of a grandkid. Or when I need jeans. Broken in jean are comfier (and WAY cheaper) than new, so the Salvation Store is my go-to jeans place.
