Do you support curfews for children?

Baltimore has just imposed the strictest in the nation with children under twelve having to be home by nine and teens by ten on school nights and eleven on weekends. It is sad that kids have become so unruly and the streets so dangerous that it came to this, but I think the curfew is reasonable and know that you probably do too...

I suppose it helps but IMO children under twelve shouldn't be out after dark without adult supervision and a curfew would give authorities the power to take them home.

As a high school student I was occasionally out after midnight - school dances (including travel time) and cinema outings being the most common reasons. We travelled together in small groups for safety.

The age of adult majority over here is 18 so I'm assuming that any curfew would not apply from this age.

Yes, but obviously there is not enough responsible parents to be found...

Hasnt ever worked before in the past so its not going to work today.
Its the parents responsibility but their thinking nowaday is to get the kids out of the house so they can watch their favorite TV shows.
