Do you think many movie stars regret their choice of careers?

The stars sure make a lot of money. If they want to give up acting, they should be live quite well.

She was 26 when she married 32 year old Prince Rainier.

I think Shirley Temple quit young too, and went into politics or something. Doris Day was a bit older, I think in her 50's, but probably could have kept going if she wanted to.

If I remember right Grace Kelly gave it up to become Princess Grace when she married the Prince Of Monico. She was fairly young too I think.

Yep, and lived miserably ever after.

Some act until they die, well after retirement for the rest of us. They must like what they are doing.

I think most people in life have some regrets about major life decisions they’ve chosen.
Do I think movie stars are included? Yes!
Fame comes at a price and having the freedom to do whatever you want without everyone knowing is priceless but it obviously CAN be done. Some of the best actors aren’t ever in the tabloids. Some stars put effort into making sure they still have personal freedom which ‘seems’ to have paid off.

I think one would have to be a popular celebrity to fully appreciate this question.
I’ve always been impressed with famous movie stars and musicians who keep their personal life to themselves. They might have kids but you rarely hear about them or see any photos. That takes deliberate effort.

Magic,The poor guy like me, has lost his legs and had major spinal surgery. Love all his stuff.
