Do you think poker is a sport?

A poker tournament was on TV as a "sporting" event. Do you think poker is a sport? Do you think poker will be considered an Olympic sport?

Personally, there's no ball, so nope.

I love to play poker....mostly Texas Hold'em. No, I don't think it is a "sport", but it certainly is a real "brain exercise".

Ohio law, at least, defines Poker as a "Game of Chance", not under a Sport heading, but under Title 29 Gambling. But I see no trouble defining it as a sport.

Is chess, "checkers", (/Draughts), Bridge (or any other card game), a sport would be the awkward question to be faced!
