Do you think there's way too much stuff to remember?

I got onto my 2021 Hyundai, but it wouldn't start. The battery in the key fob was dead. I looked at my key chain and there was no Hyundai key. So, I had to get the other key fob with a good battery, which allowed the car to start. Later, I watched a video of how to change the battery, and I forgot there is a key hidden in the key fob-DUH! The dealer showed this to me, but that was 2 years ago. I have this alarm clock, and to set the time/alarm time, you have to press this button twice, then hold this other button down. I have a sound system with a million settings that I can't remember which ones I want. I can never remember how to do that.
I think I just have way too much stuff to remember. When we were kids, we had TV channels 2, 4, 6. Ain't much to remember. Today you have at least 200-way too much to remember. Do you think there's way too much stuff to remember?

Yes, yes, yes.....my 'things to remember notebooks' are very thick..... I have to have a small one that I can carry in my purse, a big one on my desk, one in the kitchen for things to do and buy on the next trip to town and many notes and reminders by the names of my contacts on my phone also I have a big calendar that I've started a daily diary.....hopefully I can stay on track without forgetting where I live..

Your brain is like a hard drive in the computer. It has a limit as to how much we can store. That's why we remember our childhood telephone number our whole lives but cannot remember stuff from yesterday. That old phone number is using the storage space along with all the crap we learned in school.

Yes, Sometimes I forget a word or a name from long ago and I picture a little man in my brain looking through file cabinets to
find it. A few moments later, it pops out! It's all in there somewhere. I just have to find it! haha!

I have a notebook with all my passwords. Luckily I will never need a new car unless someone totals mine. The new cars have so many features.
