Do You Think They Will Sue Or Impeach The President?

Do you really think they will sue or impeach our President? It has been awhile since we even had to face this these kind of issues. Do you think there is a reason to do this or is it just posturing? :dunno:

You never know. There isn't a lot that I would put past the teabaggers.

Those extremist goofballs are so seething with bile-spitting hatred for Obama, I wouldn't be surprised if they formed a lynch mob & tried to hang him from the nearest tree.

And yet, after all their goofy birther/Muslim/communist theories, obstructionism & threats, THEY have the gall to accuse HIM of being "divisive".

:wtf:

If they spent as much time actually working on solutions to our country's problems as they do on sound bites and photo ops, we'd be a whole lot closer to resolutions of many of our problems. Seems they'd rather point fingers and lay blame than earning their (substantial) paychecks and (generous) perks, not to mention their gravy-train retirement benefits.

[h=1]GOP Monkeyhouse to America: "No, We Really CAN'T Govern. Tell The Kenyan Usurper to Act Alone"[/h]This is incredible. If the Democrats can't fit THIS GOP clusterf--k into the narrative that the GOP is incapable of governing the country, and is only good at sitting in a tree and throwing feces at the people who are TRYING to govern it, they DESERVE to lose in November.

They make a fuss about the border crisis of undocumented central american children for weeks. President Obama asks for $3 billion in emergency funds to deal with it (approximately 0.1% of the budget). The Democratic Senate whittles it down to a bi-partisan $2 billion spending bill. Fair enough.

What does the House GOP do? The best Boenher can do is cobble together a pathetic and symbolic $0.5 billion bill that is almost entirely spending on 'Border Security,' so that his House members can at least go home and say they tried to increase border security. Then he finds out that this insane asylum he calls a caucus can't even agree to pass THAT.

So, instead, they hold a vote to sue the President for 'doing too many things on his own,' then send him a statement TELLING HIM TO DEAL WITH THE BORDER CRISIS ON HIS OWN, and then piss off like greased lightning for a five week vacation.

"There are numerous steps the president can and should be taking right now, without the need for congressional action, to secure our borders and ensure these children are returned swiftly and safely to their countries." --Statement from House GOP

Sen. Harry Reid's office rubs some salt in Republican wounds on House border bill blunder

After House Republicans pulled their attempt at a border bill in a conspicuous display of party incompetence, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and his office rubbed some salt in those wounds:

"Senator Reid agrees with House Republican leaders’ statement that President Obama has the authority to take steps on immigration reform on his own," {spokesman Adam Jentleson} said. "He's glad Republicans have come around and hopes this means they’ll be dropping their frivolous lawsuit against the President, instead of continuing to waste the American people’s time and money."

After this Boehner decides they'll stay and vote...LOL...you can't make this stuff up..what they vote on is anyone's guess...can't wait to see how they spin this..

GOP Self Destructs As Boehner Won’t Let Republicans Leave Until They Pass Border Bill

The Republican Party is again self destructing in front of the entire country as John Boehner is refusing to let House Republicans go on vacation until after they pass the border bill.

The Hill reported:

House Republicans plan to delay their August recess to stay in Washington until they have enough votes to pass a bill responding to the border crisis.
…..

But just as it appeared the conference would leave town for the five-week recess having done nothing to respond to the crisis, Republicans held a closed-door conference meeting and emerged staying they would extend their workweek to try to get something done.

“We’ll stay until we vote,” House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) said after the meeting.

It is a shame that grown men and women have to be threatened to do the job that the taxpayers are paying them to do. All of the recent chaos was started by Sen. Ted Cruz, who met with a group of House Republicans and encouraged them to oppose the border bill. House Republican leaders were forced to pull their meager bill dealing with the border crisis after it was clear that they did not have enough votes for passage.

After trying to blame Obama for their inability to pass legislation, Speaker Boehner and the House Republican leadership moved on to Plan B, which is to not let House Republicans go on vacation until he gets his way. The border bill has turned into yet another Republican caused train wreck.

The Republican Party is not fit to govern. They keep proving this point by failing to complete even the most basic tasks associated with legislating. Lawsuits against the president can’t conceal the fact that this is the worst Congress in modern history

'We've got to get rid of Harry Reid ... He's the problem'

Interesting video, kcvet.

What would be the process for 'sacking' the Senate majority leader? Does the power reside in the Senate? Would a vote of no confidence do it?

That's the reason, but how is it done?

Over here, the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Senate are chosen by the party that has the majority in the lower house. The party can decide to replace either one at any time. There is no other process that I know of. When that happens the incumbent(s) resigns and the Governor General makes the new appointments official.

not that easy here. might as well pull a gun and shoot the son of a bitch

On impeachment of the president....No, it will not happen.. Republicans started the talk of impeachment, but when they realized all this talk was going against them with more money flowing into Democrats' funds and the public declaring what a farce it was, they immediately started blaming all the impeachment talk on Democrats, also they realized they would never get enough votes in the Senate.....all this impeachment talk is just one more example of how out of touch the right are and it is a windfall for Democrats, Boehner keeps trying to quash the impeachment talk, but the tea party extremes are keeping it alive.

They, whoever "they" are, should take the long view. Impeachment is not a frivolous or everyday matter. It should be reserved for the most serious matters. Criminal matters or corruption. Otherwise every future president will have to face this threat for mere political reasons.
